I don't know why wix is screwing up the image quality of my graphic (edit, I just learned why. Wix automatically adjusts the quality of images to better suit their servers, but yeah, whatever), but the image I uploaded isn't as colorized, red, and brighter, but whatevs. I built a new character (my first one, actually) this weekend and had a blast. What you see above is the final version of her, but I have to figure out why the web quality is so poor. Anyway, I wanted to talk about samples. The untrained eye might not be able to see the difference, but if you study closer you can and will see the difference.

When you render with more samples, you have less noise in the picture, so, if you study around the neck, or straight down the middle, you'll see less (or maybe zero) noise on the right. Also, I wanted to talk about the small things. I added small, fine hair to her face which added another element of realism.

Below is a picture without hair.

If you study it for a second, you will notice that something is just off. Something, you can't quite explain it, but something is off. Well, what's off is she doesn't have fine hair across her face, ya know, the kind of hair you can see if you look close enough into the mirror.

This Wix photo viewer doesn't really do it justice, but, finer details such as that create a sense of realism, and I'm particularly proud of this, for it's my first 'front and center' image of a character.

So, the woman in the picture is Wartrice, who is the villain in a story I will be publishing soon. That's all I really have. If you want to, go ahead and study the differences between the two pictures. Other than that, this is just an update.
